About the Role
Our client, a leading retail group, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Riyadh. This role will be responsible for driving business growth, strengthening brand presence, and developing strategic partnerships across the Central Province.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of sales, marketing, business development, and event management experience, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders. The role requires a commercially driven professional with strong relationship management and market engagement capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic collaborations within the retail sector.
- Manage and support marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and brand activation activities.
- Plan and oversee events, exhibitions, and customer engagement activities to enhance brand visibility and business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, vendors, and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment of business objectives.
- Monitor market trends and analysiss, and customer insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare business reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management review.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in business development, sales, and marketing roles, preferably within retail or consumer-focused industries.
- Strong experience in event management, partnerships, and brand engagement activities.
- Proven ability to build relationships and drive commercial growth initiatives.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially driven with strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM/reporting tools.
