Finance Head

About the Role
Our client, an MNC, is seeking a Finance Head to lead the entire finance function for its Middle East operations. The role is responsible for overseeing accounting, financial reporting, liquidity management, business planning, pricing, and cash flow management across multiple entities while ensuring compliance with local and group wide requirements. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic business partner to management while leading day to day finance operations, ensuring strong financial controls, regulatory compliance, and effective decision making support across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full finance and accounting operations for Middle East entities.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with local regulations and group requirements.
- Prepare and review annual financial statements and management reports.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
- Support management in business planning, pricing, costing, and margin analysis.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, and relevant labour law requirements.
- Monitor inventory valuation, including work-in-progress and project-based accounting activities.
- Lead and develop the local finance team while ensuring strong internal controls and financial processes.
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and external stakeholders as required.
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or Certified Accountant is an advantage.
- Minimum 7–10 years of finance and accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong experience in preparing annual financial statements independently.
- Experience within manufacturing or project-driven industrial environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS.
- Good understanding of UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, and Labour Law regulations.
