About the Role

Our client, a global manufacturing company, is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee logistics, import & export, customs clearance, transportation, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in freight forwarding, shipping documentation, customs procedures, warehouse coordination, and vendor management, serving as the key liaison between suppliers, freight forwarders, customs authorities, and internal teams. The role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant movement of goods while maintaining compliance with UAE Customs and JAFZA regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including import/export, transportation, customs clearance, and distribution activities.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, transport providers, customs authorities, and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of shipments.
• Ensure accurate shipping and customs documentation in compliance with UAE Customs and JAFZA requirements.
• Monitor logistics costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and prepare operational reports.
• Maintain strong relationships with logistics partners, suppliers, and service providers.
• Supervise logistics operations and ensure compliance with company procedures and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of logistics and supply chain experience, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Customs regulations, JAFZA procedures, and Middle East logistics operations.
• Experience in freight forwarding, customs clearance, shipping documentation, transportation, and warehouse coordination.
• Good understanding of international shipping procedures and Incoterms.
• Strong vendor management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
