About the Role

Our client, a global manufacturing company, is seeking a Procurement Supervisor to join their operations in Dubai. The Procurement Supervisor will oversee the organization’s procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, timely delivery of goods and services, effective supplier performance management, and compliance with company policies and UAE regulations. The role requires strong negotiation skills, vendor management expertise, logistics knowledge, and a solid understanding of Middle East market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily purchasing activities, source suppliers locally and internationally, obtain quotations, and negotiate prices to ensure cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
• Evaluate and manage supplier performance, maintain strong vendor relationships, and resolve issues related to delivery delays, quality concerns, or contractual disputes.
• Monitor purchasing budgets, analyze costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and prepare procurement reports for management review.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and UAE regulations while maintaining accurate documentation for purchase orders, contracts, and audits.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and supervise staff to ensure procurement processes are followed efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of procurement experience.
• Strong knowledge of local supplier networks and import/export procedures.
