Senior Sales Manager – Electrical & Cabling

About the Role
Our client, an international leader in electrical solutions and cabling systems, is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to join its Dubai-based team. This role will be responsible for driving profitable growth, expanding market share, and leading the sales function across the UAE while maintaining full P&L accountability.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in project sales within the electrical solutions and cabling industry, combined with strong sales leadership capabilities and a proven track record of developing high-performing teams, building strategic customer relationships, and delivering sustainable commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives across the UAE.
- Assume full P&L responsibility for the assigned business segment, ensuring the achievement of financial, operational, and growth targets.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer excellence.
- Drive project sales initiatives across key sectors, including construction, infrastructure, utilities, industrial, commercial, and energy.
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities, major projects, and strategic partnerships to support long-term business growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, consultants, contractors, developers, EPC contractors, distributors, and end-users.
- Drive specification-selling activities and engage with key decision-makers to secure project approvals and specifications.
- Collaborate closely with regional and global stakeholders to align local market strategies with broader business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer requirements to identify opportunities and strengthen market positioning.
- Manage sales forecasting, pipeline development, budgeting, and performance reporting to ensure delivery against business objectives.
- Lead commercial negotiations, contract discussions, tender submissions, and bid management activities for strategic projects.
- Ensure effective execution of sales strategies while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Provide regular business reviews, market intelligence, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8–12 years of sales experience, including at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role within the electrical solutions, cabling, power distribution, or related industry.
- Strong project sales experience and a proven ability to manage complex sales cycles within the construction, infrastructure, industrial, or utilities sectors.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Proven experience with P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial performance accountability.
- Strong experience working with OEMs, channel partners, and distribution networks within the electrical industry.
- Well-established relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, EPC contractors, distributors, OEMs, and other key stakeholders across the UAE market.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop and execute growth strategies in a competitive market environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, CRM platforms, and sales reporting tools.
